BYD launches aggressive campaign with reduced prices for electrified vehicles in Brazil.
Chinese automaker BYD has kicked off a new commercial strategy in the Brazilian market, offering special conditions for its lineup of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
The initiative, running through the end of October, aims to boost sales through price reductions and extended financing terms, seeking to democratize access to sustainable mobility.
One of the highlights of the campaign is the compact electric Dolphin Mini.
The model, which already stood out for its urban and zero-emission proposition, now features a significantly lower entry price, dropping from R$ 118,990 to R$ 109,990.
This competitive pricing strategy is accompanied by flexible financing options with payment terms of up to 60 months—a clear move to attract consumers looking for their first everyday electric vehicle.
Expansion to Hybrid and Plug-in SUVs
BYD‘s offerings are not limited to purely electric models.
The manufacturer is also maintaining incentives for its flex-fuel hybrid utility vehicles, such as the Song Pro lineup and the newly arrived Atto 2.
These vehicles represent an important bridge for many consumers, combining the efficiency of an electric motor with the practicality of a combustion engine, both plug-in rechargeable.
The commercial plan also includes additional benefits, such as trade-in valuation bonuses for used cars and the inclusion of portable or wall chargers.
These perks aim to lower entry barriers and make the experience of owning an electrified vehicle more convenient from day one.
Brazilian Market and Growing Infrastructure
BYD‘s initiative comes at a time of growing interest in electrified vehicles in Brazil, driven by an expanding charging infrastructure.
Regions like the Federal District, for example, are already showing strong adoption, with charging points available in malls and public spaces encouraging the use of these technologies.
The Chinese automaker’s campaign, with its new commercial terms, serves as a catalyst in this energy transition process within the automotive sector.
By making its models more accessible, BYD signals its ambition to significantly expand its market share in the country’s promising clean energy vehicle sector.
A company spokesperson stated:
We are committed to accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in Brazil by offering cutting-edge technology at increasingly competitive prices. This campaign reflects our goal of democratizing sustainable mobility.
With these actions, BYD positions itself for a competitive end of the year, seeking to consolidate its presence and offer Brazilian consumers increasingly attractive and sustainable alternatives for their mobility needs.
