Azul is now serving coffee on select flights, a partnership designed to elevate the onboard experience.
Azul Linhas Aéreas has announced a new offering sure to delight coffee aficionados: the airline will now serve the beverage on select flights operated by its jet fleet, including models such as the Embraer E1, E2, Airbus A320, and A321. This initiative aims to enhance the onboard service, particularly on longer routes.
The initiative stems from a collaboration with the renowned Portuguese brand Delta Cafés, founded in 1961. The objective is to enrich the passenger experience by offering premium quality coffee during their travels. Delta Cafés meticulously curated the selection of beans and blends to resonate with the palate of Brazilian travelers.
Jason Ward, Azul‘s Director of Customer Experience, emphasized that adding coffee aims to provide customers with a distinctive product. Rui Miguel Nabeiro, CEO of Grupo Nabeiro – Delta Cafés, views the partnership as a significant step for the brand’s expansion into the Brazilian market, broadening its reach and presence among consumers.
The coffee service will be available for flights lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes or longer, operating between 6 AM and 5 PM.
There are notable exceptions: the Rio-São Paulo air shuttle route and flights originating from or destined for Brasília Airport will also offer this option, regardless of duration.
Shorter flights outside these specific routes will not feature this offering. This expansion of Azul‘s onboard service reinforces the company’s commitment to providing convenience and quality across its operations.
