Brava Energia’s new operations center optimizes asset management in Bahia with cutting-edge technology.
Brava Energia is reinforcing its operational excellence strategy with the opening of its newest Integrated Operations Center (IOC) in Bahia.
Located at the Candeias Base in the metropolitan region of Salvador, the facility will concentrate production monitoring and management for the Recôncavo and Rio Ventura hubs, both in the state.
This new technological infrastructure represents a qualitative leap in how Brava Energia manages its operations.
By integrating more than 12 distinct systems, the IOC has the capacity to supervise approximately 130 wells and 12 stations across an area spanning more than 65 square kilometers, ensuring precise and agile control.
Technology in the Service of Operational Efficiency
The IOC in Bahia goes beyond monitoring wells and processing infrastructure.
It also encompasses logistics and the coordination of multidisciplinary teams, creating a collaborative work ecosystem.
To further enhance inspection and safety, the unit is supported by four unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs/drones).
This technological approach is already a trademark of Brava Energia, which successfully applies a similar model to monitor its operations at the Potiguar Hub in Rio Grande do Norte.
The philosophy is clear: centralize intelligence to optimize decision-making.
The company stated in a release:
“The project significantly expands preventive analysis capabilities and decision-making support. The integrated environment brings together different specialties—such as Operations, Production, Asset Integrity, Maintenance, Planning, Logistics, Processes, and HSE—enabling greater synergy among teams and resource optimization.”
Impact and Future
The implementation of the IOC in Bahia is a strategic move aimed at increasing Brava Energia’s efficiency, safety, and responsiveness across its assets in the state.
The synergy provided by integrating data and teams promises not only to optimize existing resources but also to pave the way for new growth and development opportunities in the energy sector.
This technological advancement aligns with the current energy market landscape, where the pursuit of higher productivity and sustainability is increasingly pressing.
The predictive analysis capabilities and decision support provided by the new center are essential for navigating a dynamic and competitive environment.
