Volkswagen makes the arrival of the ID.4 Pro in the Brazilian market official, marking the start of its electric vehicle sales in the country.

Volkswagen has taken a decisive step toward the electrification of its lineup in Brazil. The highly anticipated ID.4 Pro, an SUV previously known to the public through subscription services, will now be officially available for purchase at dealerships starting in October. The launch, held in grand style during the Rock in Rio festival, symbolizes the German automaker’s entry into the 100% electric vehicle segment for direct sales in the country.

This new chapter for Volkswagen in Brazil promises more than just the introduction of an electric model. The ID.4 Pro arrives in the market with significant improvements in performance, range, and technology, designed to meet the demands of Brazilian roads. The expansion of its presence, moving from a subscription model to direct sales, signals the automaker’s strong bet on the potential of the local market for electric vehicles.

Performance and Efficiency for Daily Use

The heart of the Volkswagen ID.4 Pro beats with a new 84 kWh battery, capable of delivering 286 horsepower and an instantaneous torque of 55.6 kgfm. This configuration allows the driver to select from four driving modes – Eco, Normal, Sport, and Individual – optimizing consumption and performance according to their needs.

Range and Fast Charging: Less Downtime, More Time on the Road

One of the critical factors for the adoption of electric vehicles is range and charging convenience. The ID.4 Pro offers a range of 389 km, according to Inmetro standards, a figure that provides peace of mind for both long trips and daily commutes. Furthermore, the DC fast-charging system supports up to 185 kW, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 25 minutes, minimizing waiting time.

Innovative Design Focused on Aerodynamics and Technology

Built on the modular MEB platform, the same base used for other electric models in the Volkswagen group, the ID.4 Pro stands out with an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.28. This detail is not just aesthetic; it contributes to the vehicle’s energy efficiency. The IQ.Light LED headlights and taillights, which feature modern animations, and exclusive 19-inch wheels complement a look that blends sophistication with functionality.

A Sustainable and Minimalist Interior

Volkswagen‘s commitment to sustainability extends to the interior of the ID.4 Pro. The finish is characterized by a minimalist design and the use of low-impact materials. The dashboard and door panels are covered in synthetic materials, eliminating the use of animal leather, while the seats use microfiber composed of 71% recycled materials.

“The arrival of the ID.4 Pro at our dealerships marks a new moment for electric mobility in Brazil. We are offering a complete product with cutting-edge technology, performance, and design, aligned with our global sustainability goals,” a Volkswagen representative stated during the launch event.

The introduction of the Volkswagen ID.4 Pro to the Brazilian market as a direct-sale model is not just an expansion of the automaker’s portfolio, but a clear sign of the growing importance of electric vehicles in the national automotive landscape. With its technical features and focus on sustainability, the ID.4 Pro positions itself as a strong option for consumers seeking innovation and environmental responsibility in their mobility. The success of this launch could further boost the adoption of electric vehicles in the country, paving the way for future zero-emission models from Volkswagen.
