Distributor Fotus expands its portfolio by entering the BESS market, forging strategic partnerships with Huawei and CHINT to offer advanced energy storage solutions to its integrators nationwide.

Fotus, a benchmark in the photovoltaic equipment distribution sector, has just announced its official entry into the BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) market. This move marks a strategic transition for the company, aiming to consolidate its presence in one of the most promising segments of the energy transition: large-scale energy storage.

By incorporating solutions from global giants Huawei and CHINT, the distributor significantly broadens the range of technological options available to integrators. This initiative reinforces the company’s mission to offer a complete ecosystem, going beyond simple solar generation to integrate high-performance electricity management and storage technologies.

Portfolio Evolution and Integrator Focus

The diversification strategy aims to meet the growing demand for energy flexibility. Previously focused on photovoltaic systems, hybrid inverters, and electric mobility, the company now positions itself as a central supplier for technically complex projects.

Breno Ventorim, Head of Supply Chain at Fotus, states:

Entering the BESS market represents a significant evolution of our work in storage. It’s a category that expands the available alternatives for integrators and becomes part of an offering that already brings together different technologies for energy generation, storage, and management.

The new energy storage vertical is not arriving alone; it integrates with a robust base of low-voltage batteries and modern inverters. Fotus‘s current portfolio can now cover everything from basic residential needs to commercial and industrial projects requiring intelligent integration between photovoltaic panels, batteries, and the conventional electrical grid.

According to the company’s leadership, offering multiple technologies is the differentiator that allows integrators to customize projects according to the final client’s specific needs.

Breno Ventorim highlights:

The more the market expands the application possibilities for solar energy, the more important it becomes to offer different alternatives so integrators can evaluate the right solution for each project. BESS now becomes another one of these fronts within Fotus.

To ensure the success of this expansion, Fotus will leverage its already consolidated logistical reach. With eight Distribution Centers spread across Brazil and a total area of 80,000 square meters, the company guarantees deliveries in all states, covering 92% of Brazilian municipalities.

In addition to logistics, technical support is a competitive differentiator for the distributor. With a team of highly qualified engineers, Fotus maintains a high satisfaction rate, exceeding 96%, ensuring that integrators receive all necessary guidance to implement clean energy solutions safely and efficiently.

With this move, the company is preparing to capture the next wave of growth in the renewable energy market in the country.
