Talesun Solar announces a strategic expansion in Brazil, betting on advanced Back Contact module technology, new distribution partnerships, and plans for a local infrastructure by 2027.
The solar energy market in Brazil is getting a new boost with the expansion plans of Talesun Solar. The Chinese manufacturer has prepared a comprehensive strategy to consolidate its position in the country, focusing on the arrival of new photovoltaic panel technologies and the strengthening of its national distribution network.
Details about this new phase were recently disclosed by Glauco Chang, the company’s sales manager in Brazil. For the brand, Brazil remains one of the most strategic and promising markets in the global clean energy sector.
Technological advancement with Back Contact modules
As a core part of its innovation strategy, the company introduced the Brazilian public to new modules equipped with Back Contact technology, boasting power outputs reaching 650 W and 660 W. These high-efficiency units officially debuted during the Intersolar South America trade show.
To ensure stability and predictability in the supply chain for these cutting-edge products, the manufacturer maintains a long-term alliance with LONGi focused on the exclusive supply of solar cells. This partnership aims to guarantee competitiveness and continuous supply for integrators and distributed generation projects.
Glauco Chang stated:
Talesun continues to believe in Brazil as one of the world’s leading photovoltaic markets and understands that the country deserves products of exceptional quality and competitiveness.
Strategic partnerships and expansion of the distribution network
To broaden its reach and facilitate access to equipment, the company has established important commercial agreements. Among the standout alliances is the partnership with Sou Energy, in addition to the inclusion of PHB Solar in the distribution of back-contact modules.
Additionally, advanced negotiations with Solfácil and RB Solar highlight the brand’s objective to diversify its commercial channels. This move seeks to bring the products closer to an even larger share of consumers and professionals in the solar technology sector.
New physical structure and focus on energy storage
Looking ahead to the coming years, the company plans to make a logistical leap in its Brazilian operations. Starting in 2027, the brand plans to reopen a physical office in the country and implement warehouses dedicated to maintaining local inventory.
Glauco Chang highlighted:
For next year, we are going to reopen Talesun’s local office and we are discussing new warehouses. We will likely have local inventory to facilitate purchases for small and micro distributors and resellers.
This logistical ease was specifically designed to serve small and micro distributors more agilely, decentralizing purchases. Furthermore, the company’s scope will expand beyond traditional photovoltaic energy with the future introduction of battery energy storage systems and industrial cables.
With this combination of innovation in solar panels, the expansion of commercial partnerships, support for small businesses, and future entry into the BESS segment, Talesun Solar reaffirms its long-term commitment to the energy transition and Brazil’s sustainable development.
