SOFAR strengthens its presence in Brazil with energy storage innovations and local infrastructure expansion.
SOFAR marked its participation at The smarter E South America by showcasing an expanded portfolio of energy storage solutions, consolidating its presence in the Brazilian market. The company also announced the strengthening of its local infrastructure, aiming to improve customer service, logistics, and after-sales support for its clients in the country.
The event served as a platform for launching products such as PowerMagic 2.0, aimed at commercial and industrial applications; PowerEasy, focused on the residential and commercial sectors; and PowerIn, an integrated solution for smaller-scale projects. Complementing its equipment offerings, SOFAR inaugurated a new center in Jundiaí (SP) spanning over 2,000 m², designed to optimize technical support, product inventory, and after-sales service, demonstrating a growing commitment to the development of Brazil’s national clean energy market.
New Equipment and Expansion Strategy
During the fair, the Chinese manufacturer of solar inverters and energy storage systems demonstrated its vision for the future of the energy storage sector in Brazil. The PowerMagic 2.0 stands out with its 125 kW power and 261 kWh capacity, ideal for commercial and industrial demands. Meanwhile, PowerEasy aims to serve the residential and commercial market with low-voltage battery solutions, while PowerIn offers a unified platform for photovoltaic generation and storage in similarly sized projects.
The expansion of infrastructure in Brazil, with the new center in Jundiaí, reinforces SOFAR’s strategy to offer robust and agile local support. The company’s CEO, David Zhong, emphasized the Brazilian market’s potential for storage solutions and the company’s continuous investment in the region. “This market presents great potential in ESS, C&I, and BESS storage. Our company and I will invest more and more resources here,” Zhong stated.
SOFAR Cloud and Technical Training
In addition to the equipment, SOFAR introduced its monitoring platform, SOFAR Cloud, which allows for real-time tracking of energy generation, consumption, and storage. The company also launched a certification program for EPC contractors (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), aiming to qualify professionals and companies for the installation and maintenance of its storage systems, promoting safety and efficiency in the implementation of these technologies.
This initiative aims to ensure that solutions are installed according to technical specifications, contributing to sector training and the advancement of Brazil’s energy transition. SOFAR reaffirms its commitment to sustainable development and the provision of cutting-edge technologies for the renewable energy market.
