Brazil hosts Deloitte‘s first Smart Solutions Center in partnership with NVIDIA. The center in Rio de Janeiro will drive innovation and operational efficiency in the energy, mining, and industry sectors through artificial intelligence.

Brazil has just become the stage for a global technological milestone. Deloitte, in a strategic partnership with NVIDIA, inaugurated its first Smart Solutions Center (SSC) in the world in Rio de Janeiro. The initiative is born with the mission to accelerate digital transformation in critical sectors such as clean energy, mining, and oil and gas, utilizing the most advanced technology and strategy.

The center is not just an innovation space, but a hub of excellence that brings together specialists in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and connectivity. With a focus on sustainability and high performance, the structure was designed for companies to test, validate, and scale complex solutions, ensuring that technology is applied ethically, securely, and with measurable financial results.

Innovation Applied to Strategic Sectors

The new Deloitte hub bets on the intelligent use of data and advanced analytics to solve real operational challenges. Through technologies such as digital twins and computer vision, the center allows industries to optimize processes from proof of concept to large-scale implementation, always with the support of an efficient architecture.

Patrícia Muricy, leader of the Smart Solutions Center and for the Energy, Natural Resources & Industry (ER&I) practice at Deloitte Brazil, emphasizes:

“We are offering our clients, from Brazil and around the world, an environment capable of driving the transformation processes that are already reshaping the entire dynamic of the energy, natural resources, and industrial sectors today, with the potential to impact organizations across all other industries. We want to broaden the connection between advanced technologies and industrial operations, accelerating the adoption of intelligent solutions aimed at meeting our clients’ most critical business needs.”

Connecting Ecosystems and a Sustainable Future

The Smart Solutions Center goes beyond isolated technology by fostering a collaborative ecosystem. By bringing together universities, research institutes, startups, and leading companies, Deloitte seeks to create an environment where energy transition and digitalization move forward together. This collaborative model is essential to ensure that technological innovation generates real value for society.

Impact and Future Vision

The choice of Rio de Janeiro as the headquarters was no coincidence. The city has consolidated itself as an innovation hub, housing world-renowned research centers. For Patrícia Muricy, the expectation is that the SSC will leave a lasting legacy:

“By combining technology, innovation, and sectoral knowledge, the SSC’s role is to generate value sustainably, helping to ensure that technological evolution goes hand in hand with respect for people, society, and the environment. We want to contribute to accelerating the energy transition and to ensure that automation and digital intelligence not only optimize productivity and growth but also produce a legacy for future generations.”

The impact of this initiative promises to be profound, serving as a model for other global Deloitte operations. By integrating generative AI, machine learning, and operational technology (IT/OT), the center is positioned at the forefront of industrial transformation, ensuring that the energy and natural resources sector is more resilient, productive, and aligned with the demands of a more sustainable future.
