Online auctions in Goiânia offer sought-after pickups, driven by a heating regional automotive market.

Strong demand for pickup trucks in the Brazilian market is reflected in new business opportunities in Goiânia. This Wednesday, Copart will host two virtual auctions in the state capital, with one starting at 9:00 AM and another at 2:00 PM. The events are expected to attract enthusiasts and investors, featuring high-demand vehicles such as the Fiat Toro and the Ford Ranger.

The growth trend in automotive auctions in the Midwest region, which saw a 38% increase in 2026, demonstrates the appetite for these vehicles. Copart is capitalizing on this momentum by offering selected lots, with values ranging from R$ 81,846 to R$ 140,566, according to the Fipe Table.

Auction highlights

Interested parties will be able to bid on various versions of the Fiat Toro, including 2016/2017, 2020/2021 models, and more recent 2023 and 2023/2024 versions. The Ford Ranger will also be featured, with the 2018 double-cab version valued at R$ 120,201.

To facilitate participation from across the country, both auctions will be held entirely online. The Copart platform allows for real-time bidding, democratizing access to the vehicles.

To participate, prior registration on the organizer’s website is required. Individuals and companies must provide documents such as a driver’s license (CNH), tax ID (CPF), government ID (RG), and proof of residence. Virtual bidding rooms open 30 minutes before the start of each session, providing time for preparation.

The rise of pickup trucks

The digital format of the auctions and the popularity of the models on offer reflect the strength of pickup trucks in the national automotive market. In the first six months of the year, models such as the Fiat Strada, Fiat Toro, and Toyota Hilux led sales, consolidating Brazilian consumer preference for these versatile utility vehicles.
