The Electric Energy Commercialization Chamber (CCEE) has just provided its members with a more robust technology for monitoring metering data. The innovation, which is part of the Metering Analysis and Management Platform, aims to optimize operational routines within the Energy Data Collection System (SCDE), promising a more fluid interface and superior information processing compared to previous standards.
The new feature is already available in the Operations Environment and allows users to view a twelve-month historical record with greater agility. To ensure a smooth adaptation for agents, the chamber has preserved the structure of queries and groupings previously established in the analysis module, avoiding the need for immediate reconfiguration by sector operators.
Technological Transition and Next Steps
Although the new interface maintains familiarity with the legacy system, CCEE emphasizes the importance of organization. It is crucial that users are aware that adjustments to filters or data groups made on the recent platform are not replicated in the old system. The organization advises that management be concentrated in the new environment to prevent potential data discrepancies.
The tool’s evolution does not stop here. According to the entity’s schedule, the platform is set to receive significant updates in 2026, including new graphical visualization functionalities and detailed collection extracts. These improvements anticipate the decommissioning of the legacy module, which will be phased out in the second half of the same year.

The initiative reinforces CCEE‘s commitment to promoting collaborative governance. This channel has been instrumental in defining new guidelines, such as the enhancement of automatic data estimation, consolidating solutions that provide greater legal and operational security to the entire Brazilian electric energy market.
