CESP advances its corporate reorganization with a request to the CVM for a regulatory category change, marking a new phase for Auren Energia.
CESP (Companhia Energética de São Paulo), in collaboration with Auren Operações S.A. and Auren Energia S.A., has taken a significant step in its corporate restructuring by formally filing a request with the Comissão de Valores Mobiliários (CVM – Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission). The request seeks to change its securities issuer registration, moving from Category “B” to Category “A”.
This initiative represents a crucial step in the ongoing strategic planning of the Auren Energia group. The transition to Category “A” at the CVM is aligned with the company’s corporate governance and capital markets objectives, reflecting the evolution of its organizational architecture.
The request is part of Phase 2 of the corporate restructuring process, whose updates have been communicated to the market since early 2026. The procedure strictly follows the regulations established by CVM Resolution No. 80, which governs the processes of changing issuer registration categories.
The companies involved have assured that they will keep shareholders, investors, and the market in general informed about the progress of the regulatory procedures at the CVM and any other developments that may affect the timeline of the corporate reorganization.
